Michelle Searcy

Michelle Searcy is a Colorado native. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Speech Communication from Colorado State University, and her Juris Doctorate from the University of Colorado School of Law.

Having earned both of her degrees as a single mother, Michelle brings compassion and insight into family law issues. Although she has practiced law in a number of areas, including criminal law, civil litigation, collections, and appeals, Michelle chose to focus on Family Law. Michelle’s passion for family law comes from her experience as a child of divorce and as a co-parent. Michelle believes that divorce provides an opportunity for a fresh start and can be accomplished without contested court hearings. However, she also understands that this is not always possible and is willing and able to litigate matters that cannot be resolved. Michelle also serves as a Guardian ad litem for mentally incapacitated adults in domestic matters.

In her spare time, Michelle enjoys spending time with her family.
